Belagavi: In a show of unity and enthusiasm, Congress leaders and workers gathered today for a crucial meeting in Belagavi North, setting the stage for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The meeting, attended by prominent figures including Belagavi Incharge Minister Satish Jarakiholi, Women and Child Welfare Department Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, and Belagavi Lok Sabha candidate Mrinal Hebbalkar, resonated with energy and commitment towards the party's electoral goals.

Addressing the assembly, Congress leaders reaffirmed their dedication to the constituency's development and the welfare of its people. Mrinal Hebbalkar, the party's candidate for the Belagavi Lok Sabha seat, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent the constituents, emphasizing the importance of youth empowerment as the cornerstone of national progress.

Highlighting the achievements of the Congress-led government, Hebbalkar commended the fulfillment of promises made to the people, underscoring the party's commitment to its guarantees.

He also pledged to prioritize Belgaum's development agenda, vowing to be a proactive and effective voice for the constituency. Echoing Hebbalkar's sentiments, Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar stressed the significance of Belgaum and Chikkodi constituencies in Karnataka's political landscape.

Confident in the Congress's electoral prospects, she asserted that victory in these constituencies was within reach, buoyed by the leadership of candidates like Mrinal Hebbalkar.

Meanwhile, Minister Satish Jarakiholi delivered a scathing critique of the current central government's performance, particularly targeting Prime Minister Modi's administration. Citing alleged failures in addressing the city's needs, Jarakiholi underscored the Congress's commitment to governance "for the people, by the people," highlighting past achievements such as the establishment of premier institutions like IITs and contributions to space technology through ISRO.

The meeting served as a platform for Congress leaders to rally support and galvanize workers ahead of the impending electoral battle. With a formidable lineup of candidates and a robust agenda for development, the Congress in Belgaum appeared poised to contest the Lok Sabha elections with vigor and determination. The presence of stalwarts like Satish Jarakiholi, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, and Mrinal Hebbalkar underscored the party's unity and resolve to secure victory in Belgaum, setting the stage for a spirited electoral campaign in the region.
