In a significant development, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced the postponement of the Gaganyaan's First Flight Test Vehicle Abort Mission-1 (TV-D1) launch today. ISRO Chief S Somnath revealed that the launch could not proceed as planned due to an unexpected issue with engine ignition.

Somnath stated, "The lift-off attempt could not happen today...engine ignition has not happened in the nominal course, we need to find out what went wrong. The vehicle is safe, we need to look at what happened...we will come back soon...the computer which is doing function has withheld the launch...we will correct it and schedule launch soon."

The postponement is attributed to a computer malfunction that disrupted the engine ignition process. The ISRO team is dedicated to resolving this technical glitch to ensure the success and safety of the mission.

ISRO has not yet confirmed a new launch date, but they are actively working to address the issue and reschedule the mission at the earliest opportunity. This mission is of great importance, as it is a crucial step in India's ambitious Gaganyaan program aimed at sending Indian astronauts into space.
