Belagavi:Karnataka's Minister of Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Legislation, H. K. Patil, has been actively engaged in the Lok Sabha election campaign, particularly focusing on Uttar Karnataka issues. Patil extensively toured Kittur Karnataka and Kalyan Karnataka, emphasising the challenges faced and the need for representation.

Expressing concerns over the control exerted by the BJP, Patil highlighted difficulties faced by the Congress in promoting their content through news channels. Despite this, he praised the Karnataka government's achievements in the past 10 months, which have strengthened the party's position in the state. Patil confidently stated the Congress's determination to secure all 12 seats in Kittur Karnataka and Kalyan Karnataka, attributing their strength to the five guarantees provided to the people of Karnataka.

He asserted that over 1.1 crore families have benefited from these guarantees, leading to an improved quality of life. The efficient utilization of advanced technologies has enabled the Karnataka government to reach every beneficiary, achieving 100% success in the Gruha Jyoti guarantee and over 90% success in the Anna Bhagya guarantee.

Patil invoked the words of Rajiv Gandhi, emphasizing the importance of development in India. He credited the Congress guarantees for empowering women in Karnataka and highlighted the government's success in obtaining clearance for the Mahadayi issue.

However, Patil expressed frustration over the political agenda hindering progress, particularly citing the forest ministry's delay in granting clearance despite approval from the National Wildlife Board. He called upon central ministers, including Prahlad Joshi and BS Yediyurappa, to address the deferred Mahadayi issue.

In the Lok Sabha elections, Patil expressed confidence in candidates Mrinal Hebbalkar and Priyanka Jarkiholi, predicting their success in securing over one lakh votes each. He commended their efforts in the election battle, aiming to represent the aspirations of the people effectively. Overall, H. K. Patil's campaign focuses on both local issues and the achievements of the Karnataka government, underscoring the Congress's commitment to addressing challenges and improving the lives of the people of Karnataka.
