PM Modi and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy Honor Memory of Children Lost in Conflict in Kyiv

Kyiv: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy came together today in Kyiv to pay tribute to the children who have lost their lives during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. 

Both leaders visited the Martyrologist Exposition, where they honoured the memory of these young victims. Prime Minister Modi expressed his sadness for the families affected by the tragedy, saying, Conflict is especially hard on children. My heart goes out to the families who have lost their children, and I pray for their strength during this difficult time.

President Zelenskyy also spoke of the importance of protecting children from violence. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and I remembered the children who were taken by Russian aggression. Every child deserves to live in safety, and we must work to make that a reality, he said.
