New Delhi :DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru. M.K. Stalin expressed his concern regarding the Hon'ble Prime Minister's comments, stating that it's unfair to comment without a proper understanding of what Hon'ble Minister Thiru. Udhayanidhi spoke.

During a Sanatan Eradication Conference in Chennai, organized by the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers and Artists Association, Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin addressed the inhuman principles advocated by Sanatan. He specifically highlighted Sanatan principles that discriminate against Scheduled Castes, Tribals, and Women. His intent was to challenge these discriminatory practices, not offend any religious beliefs.

Minister Udhayanidhi pointed out that historical figures like Thanthal Periyar, Mahatma Phule, Babasaheb Ambedkar, Narayana Guru, Vallalaar, and Vaikuntar have previously criticized regressive Varnasrama, Manuvad, and Sanatan ideologies. These ideologies have justified discrimination based on birth and the oppression of women.

Moreover, he condemned the propagation of caste discrimination and the citing of sastras and ancient texts to justify social stratification. He noted that some individuals even support child marriage and denigrate women on spiritual platforms, advocating for the oppression of women.

Minister Udhayanidhi's remarks were twisted by pro-BJP forces, falsely claiming that he called for the genocide of people with Sanatan thoughts. This misinformation was widely spread on social media. Despite his clear denial, Union Ministers, including Hon'ble Home Minister Amit Shah and Hon'ble Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, shared these false claims.

Uttar Pradesh saw a self-proclaimed seer burning Minister Udhayanidhi's photo and offering a bounty on his head, yet no action was taken against him. Instead, cases were filed against Udhayanidhi. This situation raised questions about the Hon'ble Prime Minister's awareness of the lies spread about Udhayanidhi.

The Hon'ble Prime Minister's recent instances of speaking without verifying facts, such as the case of Tamil Nadu Minister E.V. Velu, raise concerns about his intentions. It seems he is attempting to divert attention from unfulfilled promises.

The INDIA alliance, consisting of parties opposed to the BJP, has seemingly rattled the Prime Minister, leading to his proposal of 'One Nation - One Election.' This is viewed as a political gimmick aimed at creating divisions within the opposition alliance.

Even the Chief of RSS, Mohan Bhagwat, acknowledged the historical discrimination and the need for reservations to address it. If the BJP needs further clarification on Minister Udhayanidhi's remarks, they should consult Mr. Mohan Bhagwat.

In conclusion, the DMK's goals are transparent and centered on upliftment. They aim to create a society where all individuals, regardless of caste or gender, can lead peaceful lives and enjoy equal rights. The DMK has a history of promoting social justice and enlightenment, rather than resorting to violence. The BJP's attempts to tarnish their reputation are unlikely to succeed.
