A heartbreaking and deeply disturbing incident has emerged from Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district, where a 31-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by four men. This horrifying event comes just days after two other similar assaults were reported in the state one involving a college student in Gopalpur and another involving a minor girl in Keonjhar.
According to reports, the accused men took advantage of the situation when the victim’s husband and other family members were not at home. The assault took place on Monday night in a village under the jurisdiction of the Baripada Sadar police station. Authorities have confirmed the incident and an investigation is underway.
