Belagavi: Kotikantha Singing "Nanna Nadu Nanna hadu" program "Let's all join hands to create Kannada history by singing Kotikantha in one voice across the state," said Rudresha Ghali, Commissioner of Mahanagara Palika.

He spoke in the introductory speech at the Koti Kantha singing program at the District Stadium on Friday as part of the 67th Karnataka Rajyotsava in collaboration with the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Department of Kannada and Culture and Mahanagara Corporation.

Kannada singing will be heard in more than one crore voices in more than 10 thousand places across the state, in every corner of the state.
Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate which is a folk song by Kuvempu, Udayawagali Nama Cheluva Kannada Nadu composed by Huyilagola Narayan Raya, Barisu Kannada Dindima composed by Kuvempu, hachevu Kannada Deepa composed by Dr. DS Karki, Vishwavinootana Vidyathan composed by Channaveer Kanavi and Hansalekha. The Kotikantha singing program organized across the state as part of the 67th Karnataka Rajyotsava was made a success by singing six Kannada songs.
Belagavi North MLA Anila Benake presided over the programme.Bhagyashree Ra, Deputy Commissioner (Administration) of Mahanagara Corporation present.
Sarvamangala Aralimatthi narrated the program,Apart from this, taught the rite of resolution to the children. Nayana Girigowdara and team participated as the lead singer of Koti Kantha Gayana.
Belagavi Urban Development Authority Commissioner Pritim Nasalapure, Municipal Corporation Revenue Deputy Commissioner Prashantha Hunagundi, Municipal Corporation Health Officer Sanjay Dummagola, TPO Officer B.V. Hiremath, Belagavi Tehsildar RB Kulkarni, Metropolitan Corporation Development Deputy Commissioner Lakshmi Nippanikar and students from government and private schools and colleges of Belagavi city participated in the singing program.
