Parvati Kund, also known as Parvati Sarovar, is steeped in Hindu mythology. Legend has it that this is the very place where Goddess Parvati undertook rigorous penance to attain Lord Shiva as her consort. Development Initiatives Unveiled:

During his visit to the Kumaon region, he unveiled a diverse range of development projects, with a total investment of approximately ₹4,200 crore. These projects encompass various sectors, including rural development, transportation, power, irrigation, water supply, horticulture, education, healthcare, and disaster management.
One noteworthy initiative among these projects is the construction of 21,398 poly-houses. These poly-houses are set to revolutionize the agricultural landscape by enhancing the production and quality of flowers and vegetables, thus contributing to the economic well-being of the region's farmers.
