High-Speed Train Proposal:One of the key points discussed was the introduction of a high-speed train to connect Belagavi and Bangalore. Drawing inspiration from South Korea’s advanced transportation systems, the VC proposed a solution that could significantly reduce travel time between the two cities. “With high-speed connectivity, we could cover the 500+ km distance in just 1.5 hours, enabling seamless collaboration and boosting Belagavi’s economic and technological integration with Bangalore,” he added.
