Heartbreaking: Father Kills 17-Year-Old Daughter Over Low NEET Mock Test Marks in Maharashtra

In a deeply disturbing and tragic incident from Sangli district, Maharashtra, a 17-year-old girl lost her life at the hands of her own father—simply for scoring low marks in a NEET mock test. The young girl, Sadhna Bhonsle, had earlier scored an impressive 92.6% in her 10th standard exams and was diligently preparing for the competitive NEET exam. Despite her hard work, her performance in a recent mock test led to anger and violent outrage from her father.

According to police, the accused, Dhondiram Bhonsle (45),allegedly attacked Sadhna with a stick in a fit of rage, leading to her death. The heartbreaking event occurred in Nelkaranji village of Atpadi tehsil on a Friday, leaving the community shocked and devastated.
