Three Youth Die of Suffocation in Belagavi; One Critically Injured After Charcoal Stove Mishap

A tragic incident occurred in Belagavi where four youths, who had returned home after attending a program, used a charcoal stove inside their room to stay warm during the cold weather. The smoke from the stove filled the closed room while they were asleep, leading to suffocation.

Three youths Rehan (22),Moin Nalabanda (23),and Sarfraz Harpanahalli (22) lost their lives, while another youth, Shahanawaz (19),is in critical condition.

Malmaruti Police officials and MLA Asif Sait visited the spot to inspect the situation. The incident took place within the Malmaruti Police Station limits.
