Gurudev Dr. RD Ranade Mandir Celebrates centenary Year with Grand Events
The Academy of Comparative Philosophy and Religion, popularly known as Gurudev Dr. RD Ranade Mandir, is set to celebrate its centenary year with a series of grand events from August 1 to August 3, 2024. Mahaveer Jirali announced that the celebration will be inaugurated by RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat and Kamlesh Patel, popularly known as Daaji, who heads the Ram Chandra Mission in Hyderabad.
The three-day event is meticulously planned to honor the legacy of Gurudev Dr. RD Ranade and inspire the participants with profound wisdom and guidance.
Day 1: Centenary Inauguration
The inauguration ceremony on August 1 will mark the beginning of the centenary celebrations, setting the stage for the following days of intellectual and spiritual engagement.
Day 2: Conference for Youth – Hope of India
The second day is dedicated to a youth conference titled "Hope of India." The sessions are designed to motivate and enlighten young minds
First Session: Padmashri Vijay Sankeshwar, the founder of VRL, will address the students, sharing his insights and experiences.
Second Session:Krishna Sampgaonkar will present his views on Swami Vivekananda's messages for the youth, emphasizing the great philosopher's timeless wisdom.
Third Session:Sandip Nayyar, the Registrar of Evaluation at Chanakya University, Bengaluru, will conclude the day's conference with his address.
Day 3: Conference for Teachers – "Teachers as Ambassadors of Values
The final day focuses on teachers, aiming to elevate their moral and spiritual consciousness. The theme for the day is "Teachers as Ambassadors of Values":
First Session:Dr. Tyagraj, Vice-Chancellor of Rani Channamma University, will inaugurate the conference and deliver the keynote address.
Second Session:V. Nagraj, a senior RSS figure, will speak on the journey of teachers towards becoming gurus.
Third Session:Vasanth Kumar, formerly heading ABVP and currently associated with Maharani College, Mysore, will handle the concluding session.
Additionally, Mahaveer Jirali mentioned that the event will also feature the release of books authored by Gurudev Dr. RD Ranade, providing further insights into his philosophical contributions.
The centenary celebration promises to be a significant event, bringing together prominent leaders and thinkers to commemorate the profound legacy of Gurudev Dr. RD Ranade and inspire future generations.
