KAS Exam: Key Meeting Led by Shalini Rajneesh on January 18

Bengaluru:A crucial meeting has been scheduled for January 18 under the leadership of Shalini Rajneesh, Chief Secretary of the Karnataka Government, to address the irregularities reported in the Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) exam for 384 Gazetted Probationary Group A and B posts.

As directed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, the meeting will discuss the lapses in the exam process, the concerns of candidates, and potential corrective measures. A decision is expected on whether a re-exam should be conducted or if candidates who passed the preliminary exam should be allowed to proceed directly to the mains.

The meeting will be attended by senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretary L.K. Atheek, KPSC Secretary Randeep Choudhary, DPAR Secretary, and representatives from the Kannada and Culture Department.
