World Records Festival 2023 by Little Star English Medium Secondary School Belagavi

Belagavi :Little Star English Medium Secondary School in Belagavi (is affiliated to State Board) and Global International School (is to be affiliated to CBSE) and considered as one of the Pioneer Schools in the City which was established in the year 2011 by The Spoorti Education Society and the school was established with a strength of 85 in the first year and it has steadily grown in the stature with the strength of 1100 students from LKG to Grade X, producing outstanding results in scholastic and non-scholastic areas.

In order to celebrate the 75th Year of Indian Independence and Annual Day Celebrations 2023 Little Stars Group of Schools has decided to Conduct an event titled "World Records Festival 2023" on February 25, 2023 and February 26, 2023 in which the students.

Teachers and parents of the school are going to create two world records which are as stated below:

• Largest National Flag made with Origami Models.

• Largest Seed Balls Mosaic by a Team
These Records are considered as Official World Record Attempts to be certified by Elite World
Records (LLC-USA) and India Records Academy.

Largest National Flag made with Origami Models by a Team:

As a part of 75th year of Indian Independence Celebrations, all  students, teachers and parents are going to make 1,40,000 origami Models on 25.02.2023 in 2 hours. 

These origami Models will be gathered together on 26.02.2023 and pasted in the form of a mosaic by all the students, teachers and parents of Little Star Group of Institutions which will reflect the Indian National Flag. 

The team will be involved for about 9 hours to create the Indian National Flag after which the students and teachers will take a pledge together emphasising "My India My Pride". 

The Participants are going to break the record in the category "Largest National Flag made with Origami Models" by creating as large as 337.50 Square meters Indian National Flag surpassing the existing record of 121.50 Square meters
which was held in 2003.

Largest Seed Balls Mosaic by a Team
As a part of. Social Responsibility to create awareness on importance of Road Safety in Wearing Helmet, all our students, teachers and parents are going to make 2,00,000 Seed Balls on 25.02.2023 in 7 hours. 

These seed balls will be gathered together on 26.02:2023 and aligned in the form of a mosaic by all the students, teachers and parents of Little Star Group of Institutions which will reflect the Caption "Donate Blood Not on the Roads" and it will also reflect the Image of a Human Head wearing the Helmet. 

The team will be involved for about 9 hours to create the Mosaic after which the students, teachers and parents will take a pledge together emphasising "Road Safety'. The Participants are going to break the record in the category "Largest Seed Balls Mosaic by a Team" by creating as large as 168 Square meters mosaic surpassing the existing record of 139.95 Square meters which was held in 2018.

Mr.Mattew Lau ThienPoh,Chief Executive Officer, Elite World Records LLC (USA) for South East Asia, Archana Rajesh, Adjudicator, Elite World Records and P.Jeganathan, Senior Records Manager of India Records Academy will join the adjudication team representing different world record approving agencies for ratification of the world record event to be held.
