Congress Leader Murdered Near Bengaluru’s Garuda Mall; Chaos Erupts

Bengaluru: The Silicon City is once again in the spotlight for crime, as Congress leader Haider Ali was brutally murdered near Garuda Mall around 1 AM. The shocking incident has sparked widespread concern.

Haider Ali, a close associate of Bengaluru MLA N.A. Harris, was attacked while returning home on a bike with a friend after attending a live band event. Unidentified assailants intercepted them and fatally assaulted Haider Ali with sharp weapons. His friend sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save Haider, he succumbed to his injuries on the way to Bowring Hospital.

Supporters Create Chaos

The murder triggered chaos outside Bowring Hospital as Haider Ali’s supporters gathered in large numbers. Some of them, wielding machetes and other weapons, staged an aggressive protest, pushing hospital gates in anger. The police swiftly intervened to control the situation.

Haider Ali was an active campaigner for MLA N.A. Harris. The exact motive behind the murder remains unclear. Ashok Nagar police have registered a case and launched a hunt for the culprits.
