Forest Department Bans Entry to Khanapur Forests and Waterfalls During Monsoon

The Forest Department has banned people from visiting forests and waterfalls in Khanapur during the monsoon. This is to keep everyone safe and avoid danger from wild animals and slippery paths. Many young people were making social media videos in these risky areas. A few even got caught sneaking into Vajrapoha waterfall, and were warned after their parents were called.

Officials say these forest areas are home to wild animals like leopards and tigers, and become more dangerous when it rains heavily. They’ve increased security and completely banned entry into places like Bhimgad Wildlife Sanctuary.
