Belagavi-Dharwad Rail Line: Progress on Land Transfer and Project Timeline

The Belagavi-Dharwad rail line project is making progress, with 600 acres of land set to be handed over to the railway department by January 25-26, as announced by Minister V. Somanna. However, This project will cover a 73 km route from Kyarekoppa in Dharwad to Desur in Belagavi, aiming to improve regional connectivity.

Minister Somanna mentioned that the construction should be completed within 18 to 20 months. He highlighted that both the state and central governments need to work together for the project to succeed.

Once completed, the Belagavi-Dharwad rail line is expected to make travel easier, boost trade, and support the growth of the region.
