Belagavi to Host India’s First Entertainment Club for Senior Citizens

Belagavi South MLA Abhay Patil has announced the relaunch of the Entertainment Club for Senior Citizens, a project initiated three years ago but delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. The work is now resuming with full force.

This club is dedicated to providing a space for senior citizens to relax, exercise, practice yoga, and engage in various activities. It includes facilities like badminton, chess, an open-air gym, music instruments, and a digital library. A stage is also being constructed for hosting functions and events.

A meeting for senior citizens is scheduled for Sunday, December 8th, at the Vaccine Depot in Belagavi to discuss the initiative.

Abhay Patil highlighted that this will be the first of its kind club in India, designed to enhance the lives of those aged 60 and above.
