In response to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's open challenge for a debate amid the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, BJP MP Tejasvi Surya has extended a formal acceptance, highlighting the critical need for dialogue on governance issues.

Surya, representing the youth wing of the BJP, has nominated Shri Abhinav Prakash, National Vice-President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, as the party's representative for the forthcoming debate.

In a letter addressed to Rahul Gandhi, Surya expressed appreciation for Gandhi's willingness to engage in discussions during the demanding campaign period.
He emphasized the importance of open dialogue, particularly concerning policies shaping India's future.
Abhinav Prakash, chosen as the BJP's representative, is highlighted for his leadership within the youth wing and his articulate advocacy for government policies.
Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, the same state Gandhi has represented in Parliament, Prakash's background as a member of the Pasi community adds significance to his nomination.
Surya underscored Prakash's educational and professional background, citing his tenure as an assistant professor of economics at Delhi University's Ramjas College and his alumni status from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Surya believes Prakash's profound understanding of social, economic, and political dynamics will enrich the upcoming debate.
The BJP eagerly anticipates Gandhi's acceptance of the challenge, setting the stage for what promises to be a historic debate between a political scion and a representative emblematic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a new India.
