BJP Issues Show Cause Notice to MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal

The BJP Central Disciplinary Committee has issued a show cause notice to Karnataka MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, citing continued acts of indiscipline and public statements that contradict the party’s official stand. According to the notice, despite multiple warnings and previous assurances of good conduct, Yatnal’s actions remain unabated. The Central Disciplinary Committee referred to his false and veiled allegations against party leaders and a serious breach of discipline under Articles of the BJP Party Rules.

The committee has directed Yatnal to provide an explanation within 10 days as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against him. Failure to comply may result in strict action by the party.
