BJP Leaders to Lead Major Protest Against Wakf Board in Belagavi on Dec 1
Belagavi:BJP has announced a major protest against the Wakf Board’s alleged land encroachments, to be held in Belagavi on December 1. The protest will focus on addressing long-standing grievances and demanding justice for the affected citizens.
The day will begin with a floral tribute to the statue of Kittur Rani Chennamma, followed by a pooja at the Ganesh Mandir. A padyatra will then proceed, with participants heading toward Mahatma Gandhi Bhavan. Here, letters and grievances from people impacted by the Wakf Board’s alleged actions will be collected.
The protest will culminate with a march to the DC office, where the collected letters will be officially submitted, urging the administration to take immediate action.
Several top BJP leaders, including Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal,Ramesh Jarkiholi, and Pratap Simha, will join the protest, lending their support to the cause.
Kiran Jadav emphasized the importance of this movement, stating,This is not just about land disputes. It’s about protecting the rights and dignity of our communities. Generations have cultivated these lands, and we must ensure justice is done.
The protest is expected to draw significant public participation, with leaders calling for unity in this peaceful yet determined march. The event underscores the demand for reforms in the Wakf Board and fair treatment for all affected individuals.
