BJP MLA Vitthal Halagekar's Surprising Statement on Satish Jarkiholi as CM

Belgavi:In a surprising statement, Khanapur BJP MLA Vitthal Halagekar welcomed the idea of Satish Jarkiholi becoming the Chief Minister. Speaking to the media in Belagavi, he said that if Jarkiholi becomes CM, it would support the development of North Karnataka. He also expressed confidence that Jarkiholi would work beyond party lines for the betterment of the region. 

Halagekar added that Jarkiholi has closely observed Khanapur Taluk and has traveled extensively throughout the district during his time as a member of the Legislative Council. He emphasized that his support for Jarkiholi was personal and not on behalf of the BJP.

Congress has 136 MLAs, so they don’t need our support, but I personally extend my support to him,Halagekar stated.
