Deepak Gudaganatti Urges Govt to Deny MES’s Black Day Permission
Belagavi:As Karnataka Rajyotsava approaches, tension is rising in Belagavi with Karve district leader Deepak Gudaganatti urging the government not to grant permission for the Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti’s (MES) “Black Day” observance.
Every year, the MES is granted permission at the last moment to hold their Black Day event, but this time Gudaganatti is pushing hard for the government to deny permission.Such events disrupt the peaceful coexistence between Kannada and Marathi-speaking communities in Belagavi. Consequently, The government must not allow this event and should work to maintain peace, said Gudaganatti.
He also pointed out that MES has lost its political influence in Belagavi and is using such divisive events to regain its standing.MES is trying to stir unrest to reclaim its lost political ground,he added.
