Belagavi:The state BJP government has failed to solve the problem of Belgaum sugarcane growers. Aam Aadmi Party State Vice President Bhaskar Rao said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will arrive in Belgaum next month to respond to farmers' problems.

He addressed a press conference called at the tourist hall in the city on Wednesday.

The government is not willing to listen to the problems of the Belgaum sugarcane growers. He demanded that by the time the term of the government, which is immersed in 40% corruption, ends, work should be done which is disadvantageous to the farmers.
Belagavi district of North Karnataka is sugar land. He expressed displeasure that all the governments are giving assurances to the sugarcane growers but no one is providing a permanent solution.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will come to Belgaum. The price fixed for sugarcane by the Punjab government should be done in Karnataka. But the Karnataka government only Rs 2,700. Price per ton of sugarcane has been fixed. Aam Aadmi Party workers have already conducted a survey and will submit a report to the Delhi CM, he said.
The farmers of Karnataka have not got the price of sugarcane that they should get for a long time. 3,800 per cubic ton by the Punjab government. The Delhi CM said that he will convince the farmers of Karnataka about the decision taken after fixing the price.
Cane growers of Belgaum should not be called to Bangalore and hold a meeting. CM Basavaraja Bommai demanded that a meeting be called at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belgaum.
North Zone In-charge Rajkumar Topannavara, Zone Coordinator Vijay Shastrimath, District Coordinator Shankar Hegde and others were present.
