In a significant milestone towards achieving self-reliance in critical missile technologies, the Indian Navy and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted guided flight trials of the first indigenously developed naval anti-ship missile from a Seaking 42B helicopter on November 21, 2023.

The successful test-firing marks a crucial step in India's efforts to enhance its maritime defense capabilities.

The missile, developed with DRDO's expertise in seeker and guidance technologies, is expected to significantly bolster the Indian Navy's anti-ship warfare capabilities.
This achievement is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Indian Navy and DRDO to indigenously developing cutting-edge missile technologies.
The missile's induction into the Indian Navy's arsenal will play a pivotal role in safeguarding India's maritime interests and deterring potential threats.
