2. Analytics Squad: Leveraging advanced technologies like data analytics and Artificial Intelligence, this team will proactively monitor the information ecosystem, keeping a close watch on misinformation trends.
3. :This dedicated team will spearhead public awareness campaigns to educate citizens about the existence and consequences of the misinformation ecosystem.
Entities registered in India are invited to participate in this initiative, provided they meet specific qualification criteria. These criteria include being a registered legal entity in India, having at least three years of existence, prior experience in fact-checking services, transparency in funding, and a clean record without any serious criminal proceedings.
Interested agencies can express their interest in participating in one or more of these components. The proposal submission deadline is October 16, 2023, at 5:00 P.M. Entities looking to be part of this critical effort can submit their proposals through the e-Procurement Portal: [Karnataka e-Procurement Portal] kppp.karnataka.gov.in.
The Government of Karnataka's initiative to establish the IDTU demonstrates their commitment to combating misinformation and safeguarding the public from the detrimental effects of false information in today's digital age.
