
Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar Launches Key Development Projects in Belagavi Rural, Including Ambedkar Bhavan, School Classrooms, and Village Road
Belagavi: In a busy Sunday schedule, Karnataka Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar visited Inam Badas village and launched several development works, ranging from infrastructure to education.

She performed the bhoomi pooja for a new Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan, estimated at Rs 20 lakh.This isn’t just a building. It’s a place for all communities to come together and grow,she said, addressing the locals.

The Minister also laid the foundation stone for a new connecting road from Duragappa Patil’s house to the Shri Kalmeshwar Temple, at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. She emphasized quality work and timely completion.

Another major announcement was the construction of three new classrooms at the government Marathi higher primary school in the village. The project, worth Rs 42.28 lakh, is part of Hebbalkar’s larger plan to upgrade rural schools.We’re working hard to improve educational facilities across the constituency,she said.
Speaking at the event, Hebbalkar took a swipe at critics: Some only speak about religion on stage. For me, religion means work. I serve with sincerity, not slogans.
She reminded the gathering that development work under her leadership has continued, whether in power or opposition. You’ve trusted a woman with this responsibility, and I’m repaying that trust with action, she said.
Highlighting the success of the Gruha Lakshmi scheme, she noted that Rs 34,000 crore is being transferred directly to women without middlemen.Out of millions, I’ve been given the opportunity to lead this it’s a huge responsibility and an honour.
The event saw participation from local leaders, school staff, and residents, all showing strong support for the ongoing development efforts.
