MLA Vaidya Endorses Satish Jarkiholi for Next Chief Minister

Belagavi:MLA Vishwas Vaidya, a close aide of Minister Satish Jarkiholi, has expressed support for Jarkiholi becoming Chief Minister, saying it would be a positive move for the development of North Karnataka.

Speaking to the media in Belagavi, Vaidya mentioned that there are no current plans for a leadership change, as ministers and MLAs continue to support Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He affirmed that Siddaramaiah will likely continue in his role.

Addressing the speculation surrounding Jarkiholi's potential Chief Ministerial candidacy, Vaidya stated that while such decisions are left to the party’s high command, giving Jarkiholi the post would help in the development of North Karnataka.It would be a matter of pride if someone from our district becomes the Chief Minister,Vaidya said.

He also highlighted Jarkiholi's strong track record and leadership, emphasising that he possesses all the qualities required for the role of Chief Minister.
