Plan Your Route: Ganesha Immersion Traffic Updates in Belagavi City by Police

Belagavi: In light of the upcoming Shri Ganesh Idol procession in belgavi City, significant traffic route changes have been implemented for the smooth flow of public traffic. The procession is scheduled to begin on 28/09/2023 at 2:00 PM and will continue until its conclusion on 29/09/2023.

Route Changes and Alternative Routes:

1. Khanapur-Bound Vehicles:Drivers heading towards Khanapur via College Road are advised to follow this alternate route: Ashoka Pillar Circle - RTO - Channamma Circle - Old PB Road to Krishnadevaraya Circle - Y-Junction - Sadashiva Nagar Lakshmi Complex - Visvesvaraya Nagar - Bachi Cross - Gandhi Circle (Argana Talaba) - Shaurya Chowk (Milba Hospital Circle) - Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 - Sharkat Park - Globe Theater Circle, then join Khanapura Road.

2. Jeezamata Circle to Deshpande Petrol Pump:Vehicles traveling from Jeezamata Circle to Deshpande Petrol Pump, Naragundakar Bhawa Chowk/Kambali Khoota, and Patil Galli should proceed directly from Jeezamata Circle via Central Bus Stand/Patson Showroom and Old PB Road.

3. National Highway from Khanapur Side: For vehicles joining the National Highway from Khanapur side and heading towards Shani Mandir, follow this route: Railway Station - Head Post Office Circle from Gogate Circle - left turn at Globe Theater Circle - Sharkat Park - Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 - Shaurya Chowk (Milla Aspatra Circle) - Gandhi Circle (Dana Talaba) - Ganesha Mandir - Hindalaga Road - Double Road - Bagdad Road, then continue to join the National Highway.

4. Kapileshwar Flyover: Vehicles traveling via the Kapileshwar Flyover should take the route via Bank of India, SPM Road, and join Old PB Road from Bank of India Circle.

5. Kapileshwar Flyover Road to Old PI Road: Vehicles on Kapileshwar Flyover Road heading towards Old PB Road, VRL Logistics, and Bhatakande School should use Sambhaji Road to pass through Basaveshwar Circle Khasbag and Nath-Pai Circle.

6. Yash Hospital and Kapileshwar Mandir: For vehicles going towards Old PB Road, Yash Hospital, Mahadwara Road, and Kapileshwar Mandir, take a left turn near Yash Hospital and continue along Old PB Road via VRL Logistics.

7. Goods Shed Road: Vehicles traveling through Goods Shed Road towards Kapileshwar Flyover Road should not proceed towards SPM Road and Maratha Mandir, Goa Ways Circle.

8. Single Carriageway Usage: In areas with dual carriageways along the procession route, one carriageway will be exclusively reserved for the procession.

9. Heavy Vehicle Restrictions: From 28/09/2023 at 2:00 PM to 29/09/2023 at 10:00 AM, heavy vehicles entering the city from all directions are prohibited from plying within the city.

10.Main Procession Route:The main procession route includes Kakatives Road, Ganapati Galli Road, and various other roads leading to Nargundkara Bhava Chowk, Maruti Galli, Hutatma Chowk, Ramdev Galli, Samadevi Galli, College Road, Dharmaveera Sambhaji Chowk, Ramalingakhinda Galli Road, Tilakachowk, Hemukalani Chowk, Shanimandir, Kapileshwar Flyover Road, Kapileshwar Mandir, Havelock Road, Cattle Road, Yendekhoota, Deshpande Khoota, and Pawan Hotel in the Camp area.

Additionally, all types of vehicle parking are restricted in these areas until the conclusion of the procession.
