Preparations for grand Rajyotsava: District Collector Nitesh Patil

Belagavi : Rajyotsava was celebrated simple for the last two years in the wake of Corona.  But this time Kannada Rajyotsava will be celebrated systematically and grandly on November 1, District Collector Nitesh Patil said.

 He was presiding over the preliminary meeting on preparations for the Karnataka Rajyotsava Day held at the Zilla Panchayat Hall on Monday.

 Organized Parade Planning:In the wake of the Rajyotsava, a parade will be held by police department, NCC, Scouts Guides and school students at the stadium on November 1. Through this, the District Collector instructed the Education Department officials that more students should participate in the Rajyotsava and increase the Kannada Rajyotsava weed.

 A parade of glorious metaphors: Various departments including the district administration should display glorious metaphors in their own style.  In addition, various pro-Kannada organizations will be showing silent films depicting the country, language and culture.  The procession of stills will be officially started by worshiping Goddess Bhubaneswari.  The District Collector said that the procession of metaphors will be held on various main roundabouts and roads, including the important Chennamma roundabout.

 Prizes for brilliant metaphors: The three most ornate, most striking metaphors reflecting the Nada culture will be identified and ranked first, second, and third respectively.  District Collector Nitesh Patila said that they will be encouraged by giving cash rewards and certificates respectively.

 Emphasis on local culture: Be it a parade of metaphors or other platforms, Dolby, don't overuse DJs.  This can be extremely annoying to people.  Therefore, instead of emphasizing on activities that reflect western culture, participate in activities that reflect the country, language, art and culture, said District Collector Kiwi Matu.

 Rajyotsava Award: Like every year, 5 senior journalists and 5 Kannada fighters will be honored with the Rajyotsava Award this year.  The District Collector informed that a committee of 5 members will be formed and journalists and fighters will be selected as per the suggestion of the committee.

 Appu Naamkaranke Urge for Railway Bridge:The pro-Kannada organizations demanded that the 3rd railway bridge at Tilakavadi in the city should be named after Karnataka Ratna Puneeth Rajkumar. Responding to this, the District Collector said that it will be discussed with the Railway Department.

 Cultural Programs: On the occasion of Rajyotsava, cultural programs will be organized at the Kumara Gandharva Theater in the city on November 1, he said to the District Collector that Kannada organizations should organize programs on the 2nd date as well.  Responding to this, the Collector informed that a decision will be taken after discussion with the committee.

 Proper settlement system: This time preparations are being made for the grand celebration of Rajyotsava and appropriate arrangements will be made by the police department for orderly celebrations.  Commissioner of Police Dr. Dr.  Boralingaiah said.

 Measures to avoid traffic annoyance:Organizations exhibiting silent films should inform in advance about venue, organization, route.  Commissioner of Police Dr.  Boralingaiah said.

 The dress code is best if: Song and dance are natural in the background of Rajyotsavam.  Against this backdrop, it is only natural for the crowd to jostle a bit.  In this pretext, no organization should make noise and fuss for pleasure and no one else should carry out any undesirable activities in the name of your organization.  Therefore, to avoid this, the police commissioner suggested that it is better if the organizations participating in the metaphorical parade use their own style of dress codes.

 In the meeting, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Darshan H.V., District Superintendent of Police Dr. Sanjiva Patil, DCP Ravindra Gadadi, Deputy District Collector Ashoka Dudgunti, Metropolitan Corporation Commissioner Rudresh Ghali, Joint Director of Agriculture Department Shivana Gowda Patil, Joint Director of Social Welfare Department Uma Sali Gowda, Kannada and  Assistant Director of Culture Department Vidyavathy Bhajantri and officials of various departments at the district level, office-bearers of pro-Kannada organizations, presidents and Kannada fans were present.
