President Appoints Narendra Modi Under Article 75(1)

President Droupadi Murmu has officially appointed Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India, using her authority under Article 75 (1) of the Constitution of India.

In addition, the President has asked Narendra Modi to provide the names of individuals who will join him as members of the Union Council of Ministers. She has also requested him to specify the date and time for the swearing-in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
