Shettar expressed his gratitude to the voters of Belagavi, saying, "The people of Belagavi chose me and made me win, and I thank you all for this incredible support." He emphasized that this victory belongs to the people and acknowledged the similar support he received as the late Suresh Angadi did.
On a national level, Narendra Modi also made history by winning his third term as Prime Minister, demonstrating the strong trust the electorate has in him.
Shettar discussed important issues and his plans for Belagavi, promising to work hard for the area's progress and welfare. He acknowledged the challenges ahead and called for collective efforts to tackle them.
He extended special thanks to Belagavi South voters, who gave him a lead of 73,000 votes, and appreciated MLA Abhay Patil for his efforts. In Belagavi Rural, he received over 50,000 votes, and in Gokak and Arabhavi, he garnered 28,000 and 23,000 votes, respectively, thanking Ramesh and Balachandra Jarkiholi for their crucial role in securing these votes.
Shettar also acknowledged the support from Bailhongal, Belagavi Uttar, and Ramdurga. Although he had fewer votes in Savadatti, with a 16,000 vote gap against Congress, he thanked everyone for their support.
He remembered the contributions of the late Suresh Angadi and appreciated Mangala Angadi for her significant efforts in this victory.
As Shettar takes on his new responsibilities, the people of Belagavi look forward to a period of growth and development under his leadership.
