Shettar began by expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to contest the Belagavi Lok Sabha constituency, emphasizing that the aspirations of the people in Belagavi and surrounding villages are aligned with the desire to see Narendra Modi re-elected as Prime Minister.

Pointing to Prime Minister Modi's recent visit to Belagavi, Shettar deemed it a pivotal moment in local politics, noting an increase in support for both Modi and himself. He also paid tribute to the late Suresh Angadi for his contributions to Belagavi's development.

Shettar lauded PM Modi's initiatives, particularly in providing access to clean drinking water across India, and highlighted infrastructure projects like the railway station and new railway line connecting Belagavi and Dharwad, which were spearheaded by Suresh Angadi.

He underscored the growth of Belagavi Airport, ranking it as the second busiest in the region, and expressed optimism about its future transformation into an international airport. 

Belagavi's designation as a smart city and its emergence as a hub for business activities were also highlighted as significant achievements.

In contrast, Shettar criticized the Congress government, accusing them of lacking in developmental efforts and resorting to misleading tactics. He credited Belagavi's status as a second state capital to the city's development trajectory.

Looking ahead, Shettar pledged to focus on further development, including attracting IT companies to Belagavi. Alongside Shettar, prominent figures including Sanjay Patil, Anil Benake, MB Jirali, and Mangal Angadi were present at the press meet.

Shettar also raised concerns about alleged attempts by the Congress to influence the election through monetary means, reaffirming his party's commitment to fair and transparent electoral practices.
