Strict Action Against Teachers Skipping Duties – Education Minister Warns
Belagavi: Karnataka Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa warned that teachers who neglect their teaching duties for other activities will face strict action.
Speaking to reporters in Belagavi on Wednesday, he stressed that teachers are expected to focus on educating children.If teachers are involved in other activities and neglect their duties, action will be taken without hesitation he said.
He added that while teachers have the right to protest, it should not disrupt students education. If protests affect students, disciplinary measures will follow he stated.
Regarding leadership changes in the state, Bangarappa expressed support for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, stating, Siddaramaiah will continue as CM, and there's no question of removing him.
He also addressed BJP's claims that the government would fall after Diwali, responding sarcastically,The BJP will have to wait for four more Diwalis.
