Demand for equal pay by transport employees 

Belagavi: Karnataka road transport employees held a cycle rally from the central bus stand and submitted a request to the district collector demanding that the various demands of the transport employees be fulfilled.

Karnataka government has failed to live up to its promise to the employees of the four divisions of the State Road Transport Corporation.  In the petition, they have alleged that they have failed to fulfill various demands, including equal pay for transport employees, commission model.

A case of dismissal made during a transport strike should be immediately reinstated without imposing any provisions.  Karnataka State Road Transport demanded implementation of prevailing pay commission model for employees of four divisions.
