Delhi: In a fervent display of dissent, the Karnataka Congress, spearheaded by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, orchestrated a protest in the heart of Delhi, aimed squarely at the central government's tax devolution policies.

"We expect the government will listen to our protest, and our main intention is to protect the interest of the state and Kannadigas," Siddaramaiah declared passionately, echoing the sentiments of the protestors who thronged the streets of the capital.
