Tragedy Strikes Bihar: Six Train Coaches Derail, Four Lives Lost, Dozens Injured

Bihar :In a tragic turn of events, a horrifying accident unfolded near Raghunathpur railway station in Bihar's Buxar district. The 12506 Northeast Express bound for Kamakhya Junction experienced a catastrophic derailment, with six of its coaches coming off the tracks. Regrettably, this calamity claimed the lives of four individuals and left nearly 60 passengers injured.

Coordinated Rescue Effort

Responding swiftly to the disaster, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav initiated a comprehensive rescue operation. A united front of responders, including the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF),State Disaster Response Force (SDRF),district administration, railway officials, and local residents, is tirelessly working to provide aid and support to those affected. The injured have been promptly transported to nearby medical facilities for urgent treatment.

Amidst the tragedy, there is a glimmer of hope as Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced the arrival of a train to facilitate the onward journey of passengers. This crucial step is aimed at providing relief and assistance to those impacted by the accident.
