ಒಡಿಶಾದ ಬಾಲಸೋರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ 7 ಗಂಟೆ ಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಭೀಕರ ರೈಲು ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ 200 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು 900 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಾವಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಏರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು ಬಾಲಸೋರ್ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ 200 ಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಈಗ 900 ಆಗಿದೆ" ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಪಘಾತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಾಗಿ 3 NDRF, 4 ODRAF ಮತ್ತು 22 ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
